Verbeter is a business improvement & AI practice. We have been in the trenches, an integral part of business systems long enough to have developed a particular way of seeing: a well-informed opinion that comes from watching where the pressure builds, where good intentions produce bad results, where one correction in a sequence changes everything downstream.

The operational and systems depth behind Verbeter sits in a team of more than thirty practitioners who have spent their careers inside South African manufacturing and distribution. Industrial engineers, system consultants, and software developers who have implemented, improved, and sustained the systems these businesses run on, across hundreds of real engagements.

Between them they understand what it takes to improve an operation at every level: the constraint that sits in the process, the ERP system that has to hold the improvement, and the team that has to own it once the engagement is done. That depth backs every Verbeter engagement. When the work calls for it, the full weight of that experience is in the room.

Cor is an industrial engineer who spent eight years at Accenture deploying Lean Six Sigma across large enterprises in the UK, the US, and Finland. The work was demanding and the scale significant, but what it produced was a specific kind of clarity: an understanding of how large, complex organisations change, and what it takes for that change to be real rather than just documented.

In the last decade, he has spent his time at the intersection of AI, business operations, and systems design. He brings the AI implementation and consulting methodology capability to Verbeter: how to assess where AI adds genuine leverage, how to design training and facilitation that builds lasting capability, and how to keep the methodology honest when technology moves faster than the process.

He carries a deep and current knowledge of AI and its advancements into the practice: what the technology makes possible today, where it is heading, and how to bring that to bear on business improvement in ways that hold.
